Yeah, I like Basic Rules & Basic built-in Bonus Traits. They're easier to house rule and stack, and I hate making up game rules. I also hate long, drawn out CC sessions.
The thing I love about the Basic Medfan rules is that it simulates (for the most part) OLD D&D, very simple basis for a game world.
